DK Sock Yarn Set - Intrepid

This lovely DK is a blend of Australian grown Superwash Merino and Nylon in an 8 ply yarn that is lovely and soft for socks or other garments and also has just a touch of nylon to add durability to the garment.

This set is enough yarn to knit a pair of socks to lower calf height with 2 contrasting areas, either heel and toe or cuff and heel.

85% Superwash Merino (19.5 micron), 15% Nylon

100 gram skein = 225m
20 gram skein = 45m

Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 4mm (US 6) needles

Care - Handwash only We recommend that all our hand dyed yarns are hand washed in cool or tepid water and dried flat for best care.

Colours may vary slightly from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot, which is the nature of hand-dyeing.  Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may have subtle differences. We also recommend that you alternate between skeins every few rows on larger projects.
