Hooded Baby Wrap Pattern

This cosy newborn baby wrap is ideal for bringing your precious baby home from the hospital snug as a bug in a rug:)

PATTERN FEATURES:

This pattern is knit back and forth over circular needles in stockinette stitch with a simple edging. The hood is knit separately and sewn to the wrap.
This creates a 'proper' hood like on a sweater, rather than a sewn-on corner piece, which I believe looks better.

Knitting Level: Easy
Yarn: Aran/Worsted (10 ply) Weight approximately 300 meters (328 yards)
Needles: 5.5mm (US 9) large circular needles
Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows = 10cms (4 inches)
Size: Length - 41" (104 cms) Width - 27" (69 cms)
