Wooden Drop Spindle

A classic wooden top whorl drop spindle suitable for beginners.

The whorl is fixed in place and has a small groove on one side to hold your yarn while spinning. The top hook is made from non corrosive metal.

Fibre sold separately. We prefer to teach drop spindle classes using either Corriedale or Blue Faced Leicester fibre as the staple length is longer and the fibres not as slippery which makes it easier to spin for beginners.
