The Fragment Socks are a striking, two colour project, simple to knit, but with just enough detail to hold your attention.

These socks are smart and cosy, and seem to look beautiful in every single yarn. The cuff features a 2x2 rib, and the twisted stitch pattern is also ribbed, for a snug fit. The finish includes a heel flap and gusset and a wedge toe, but I am a big fan of sock improv: please feel free to substitute your own favourites. The pattern is written for the magic loop method but is easy to adapt to DPNs if that’s your style.

Care - Handwash only We recommend that all our hand dyed yarns are hand washed in cool or tepid water and dried flat for best care.

Hand-dyed in small batches in Brisbane, Australia. We try to represent colourways as accurately as possible in our product photos. Colours may vary slightly from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot, which is the nature of hand-dyeing. If you buy more than one, we will do our best to match them up. Please ensure you buy enough to finish your project as future dyelots may have subtle differences. We also recommend that you alternate between skeins every few rows on larger projects.
